Data Controller

Data Collected
Only the data strictly necessary for the purposes described below are collected, including: identity information, contact details (postal address, email address and telephone number), order and delivery information, payment information (processed directly by the payment service provider and not stored by the Seller), and browsing data (cookies – see the dedicated Cookie Policy).
Purposes and Legal Bases
• Processing and fulfilling orders and sales contracts – Legal basis: performance of a contract.
• Customer relationship management and after-sales service – Legal basis: performance of a contract and/or legitimate interest.
• Marketing communications and newsletters – Legal basis: consent.
• Compliance with accounting and tax obligations – Legal basis: legal obligation.
Recipients and Service Providers
Personal data are accessible only to authorized internal staff and to technical service providers involved in operating the Website, including the hosting provider, the e-commerce platform (Shopify), payment service providers and shipping carriers.
Some service providers may be located outside the European Union (including the United States). Any international transfer of personal data is carried out in accordance with the safeguards required by the GDPR, including the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.
Shopify Additional Services (Shopify Network Intelligence)
The Website uses Shopify's Enhanced Services through the Shopify Network Intelligence feature. As part of these services, certain information relating to the Customer's activity on the Website may be shared with Shopify and with third parties, some of which may be located outside the European Union, in order to provide services that incorporate data derived from the Customer's interactions with Shopify and with other merchants.
These services are intended to:
• Provide a more personalized shopping experience.
• Deliver more relevant advertising.
• Better understand how customers interact with the Website and its advertising.
For these Additional Services, Shopify acts as an independent data controller (rather than solely as a data processor), in accordance with Shopify's Additional Services Terms and Appendix E of the Data Processing Addendum (DPA).
Where personal data are transferred outside the European Union, such transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards under the GDPR, including the Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.
Customers may exercise certain rights directly with Shopify regarding these processing activities. In particular, Customers may opt out of the use of their data for targeted advertising through Shopify's Privacy Portal at privacy.shopify.com.
In addition, refusing non-essential cookies through the Website's cookie consent banner prevents the use of Customer data for non-essential purposes, including personalized advertising within Shopify Network Intelligence.
Data Retention
Customer data are retained for the duration of the commercial relationship and subsequently archived in accordance with applicable legal retention periods (including ten (10) years for accounting records where required by law).
Marketing data are retained for three (3) years from the Customer's last interaction with the Seller.
Your Rights
Customers have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of their personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to provide instructions regarding the handling of their personal data after death, where applicable under French law.

Customers also have the right to lodge a complaint with the French Data Protection Authority (CNIL) at www.cnil.fr.
Customers Residing Outside the European Union (Including the United States)
Depending on their country or state of residence, Customers may benefit from additional privacy rights under applicable local legislation (for example, in certain U.S. states such as California or Colorado).
These rights may include the right to access personal data, request its deletion, and object to the "sale" or "sharing" of personal data, particularly for targeted advertising purposes.
To exercise these rights, Customers may use the data-sharing opt-out page made available on the Website, enable the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in their browser, or contact the Seller at contact@my-maev.com.
Where applicable, such requests will also be communicated to Shopify in connection with the processing activities described above.
